Ms Joanna Joseph
Trainee Lawyer

Joanna Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in law (2018), during which she spent a year on exchange at the University of Zurich, and a Master's degree in civil and criminal law (2020), both from the University of Geneva. During her studies, she was a member of the Permanence Juridique des Étudiants.e.s de Genève (PJE), a student association offering free legal advice.    She specializes in criminal law, family law (in the broadest sense) and contract law.

    
   She worked for three years as a lawyer (first job) for Transports publics genevois (tpg), from 2020 to 2023. This first professional experience in the legal field enabled her to familiarize herself with the workings of Geneva's public institutions and expand her knowledge of public law.

    
   She joined Fair Law in February 2024, as a trainee lawyer.
